As a first step I'd suggest getting the key fob transmitter tested to see if it's outputting a signal. I understand some locksmiths may be able to do this for you. If there's nothing, you've probably got your culprit right there - if it does work you know the fault's on the car side.

First thing I did was to remove the horn air bag and check the connections. After some research, I purchased AlphaOBD and the needed cables to report an E0114 error, Driver's Side Air Bag, resistance too high. Checked the DSAB connections and noticed a lot of rust around the metal part of the air bag canister itself.

This is 3 wires. Going by the diagram one of these is a fuse for the lambda but I think this is wrong, one just says internal connection and one I can't recall but doesnt show one the circuit diagram. From what I understand the 93 tempra didn't have an inertia fuel cut off but some other switch which connects 12v to the ecu.
