Hello, I have a 2012 C300 that has the HID Xenon replacement bulbs that are not working. Both bulbs appear to be okay. All other lights are working with no issues. Car display shows that both the left and right low beams are inactive. I keep reading about a ballast that supports the HID replacement bulbs. All Lighting Upgrades For Your Application:
oh boy b4 you get FLAMED!!! the inner halogens are just "FLASH 2 PASS", which means they only light up with the DRL's on. WITH VAG-COM you can have them be coded to come on with the HID High beams (the HID's are Bi-Xenon, which the there is a shutter that opens up when you hit the HIGH BEAM, the light doesn't get brighter).
My understanding was that putting $522 in the VO would at least give me baseline Bi-Xenon function (EG halogen high beams only come on as passing lights but don't come on with high beams, no CANBUS errors). Even if that's not the case, I must be doing something wrong changing the VO because it doesn't persist through a power cycle.
Hello . I joined you with the 2002 330ci. There's a problem with the car that I can't solve. I searched here but couldn't find it. High beam not working. The car has bi-xenon headlights, I don't know if it is original or not. Someone installed LED bulbs in the headlights. That's why I removed The HID low beam on my driver side has stopped working and the car is displaying the dipped beam failure and indicator light. I replaced the bulb and swapped the ignitor and such from a working light with no luck. I then swapped the entire headlight assembly with a working one also with no luck.
Bi-Xenon Headlights - issue - assistance needed. Happy Holidays. Look for feedback / assistance on this issue on the 02 ML500 W163 with Bi-Xenons. All fuses good. 1) PS low beam does not activate when started. Nor does it activate when the stalk is turned on. (xenon bulb swapped to test and ok) 2) PS high beam works when activated.
BI-XENON HEADLIGHTS MODULE: FUNCTION. Xenon headlights are comprised of the gas discharge lamp, the xenon ballast, and the reflection and projector-type system. Bi-Xenon means that high beam and low beam are realised by a projection module. This has the advantage that only one ballast is required. This means that two light distributions with a
Either send an email to info@dapperlighting.com or call us at (415) 493-8236. High beam/Low beam function is specific to 4-headlamp or 2-headlamp systems. Dapper Lighting’s 2-Headlight systems all use solenoid controlled High/Low projectors. Unlike 4-headlamp systems that have a separate housings designed for both high beam AND low beam, 2
The headlights (xenon) are working fine, but when I turn on the high beam, the high beam is not working. It is a bi-xenon headlight. When turning on the high beam, I got the blue icon on the dash that high beam is activated. What could be the problem?

The added complexity increases the cost of these units and the system also requires maintenance to ensure everything works properly. It’s important to note that Bi-Xenon headlights do not work in single-beam headlight systems. HID headlights have been around since the early 1990s and the first production car to use them was the 1991 BMW 7-Series.
