As big fan of not only medieval type warfare but the Total War games as well, I don’t know why I never checked this one out but luckily the sequel Mount and Blade II: Bannerlord is here and while I enjoyed some aspects of it, there were others that just didn’t feel right. MSRP: $49.99 Platforms: Xbox (reviewed), PlayStation, PC Warband is a lot better, even in 2021. Bannerlord may have better grapics, bigger battles. But in the actual state it's an average game that gets boring after the first playthrough while warband is one of those legendary games that you can replay infinitely. There's more needed to be done in Bannerlord, yea.

Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord is an utterly unique experience on console and one that could conceivably keep you occupied for hundreds, even thousands of hours, depending on your own creativity.

I own it for pc, bought it for my kid on the Xbox one. It is a great game. It doesn't look as good on Xbox and has longer loading, but I'd definitely recommend it. Compared to console warband it's incredible.
