The 2001 Zaskar Race's and Team's are made of Easton tubing which simply absorbs the small bumps better than other tubes. Its a better ride than previous Zaskars; these were stiff as f**k, and harsh as f**k too. It's even better than the old Zaskar LEs' too; the geometry of the Race/Team (2001 models) is more compliant as the top-tube is more Zaskar. Arguably the single most important model name in the company’s history, the Zaskar got a generation into mountain biking during the 1990s.
