It has the Comfort Access and does so when starting w/ key in ignition or key in pocket. Other key does not have this warning, so I am thinking it is possibly the battery in

Go to the trunk and put your key in and turn it all the way to the left and remove the key. This way by pushing the button at the trunk it will open, the trunk will lock when your doors are locked and the trunk will unlock when the doors are unlocked allowing the button at the trunk to work at that time. I then have to let go of the button and press again for the cycle to complete. I used it like this over the summer but would ideally like it sorted, i plugged it in and have a fault code of A696 HALL SENSOR, OPEN CIRCUIT, CLOSING MOVEMENT , REAR-END MODULE as a permanent current fault. It stays in the ecu even when I try to clear it out.
Your key should lower the roof without any coding I think, you have to hold the unlock button for the duration of the operation though & it won't raise the roof from the fob either. You need a gaptec to make it more convenient. Rob. enzed4. Lifer.

yeah i know what you mean,i can feel what feels like a tie wrap in the well holding them,i can only feel 2 wires going into the pump,which is basically a 12v drill motor,so one is + and one -,are you saying there are 4 wires coming off the pump going to the module or you are not sure what colours they are and only 2,thanks
